Our testimonials
Ana Lucía Cárdenas Egúsquiza
Graduate
Hello! My name is Ana Lucía and I am a graduate of the School of Psychology. In my last semester of internship in the Laboratory of Neurosciences and Behavior, Cayetano gave me the opportunity to do an internship of 2 months at the Universidad de la República, Uruguay. It was there where I discovered my passion for understanding and improving the quality of sleep and its disorders in every stage of human life. That passion motivated me to pursue a master’s degree in Behavioral Psychology and Cognition at the University of Barcelona. I am currently in the last year of my PhD at the University of Aarhus, Denmark, and I continue to research the influence of sleep quality on different cognitive abilities, such as memory. Cayetano inspired me and gave me the tools to become a researcher. In addition, she instilled in me perseverance to achieve my goals, and curiosity and serenity to overcome the obstacles that every professional life entails.
