Our testimonials

Keytlin García

Egresada

My adventure in the jungle began in the city of Lima, where I got the pleasant news that I had been assigned to a school belonging to the jurisdiction of the Local Education Management Unit (UGEL) in the province of Alto Amazonas. In my work as a teacher, I oversee primary school students; I also assumed the position of Pedagogical Management Coordinator. At the beginning, it was complicated to be in charge of four grades and, above all, to have to level up their learning, since the students did not know how to read or write, much less recognize numbers or count. With a lot of effort, diversifying learning strategies, it has been possible for the students to catch up on learning in the areas of communication and mathematics.

Juan Nolasco

Graduate and former PRONABEC scholarship recipient

The path after graduating from Cayetano Heredia University’s Faculty of Education has been a great challenge, not only professionally. The preparation I received allowed me to overcome the difficulties I have had to face to achieve my goals. Among them, I would like to highlight having been awarded the first order of merit in Primary Regular Basic Education (RBE) in the region of Callao.
It is thanks to the initial training I received at the Faculty of Education, my experience in the classroom and in rural areas, and the continuous study of courses and programs that I am where I am today.
