THE OUTSTANDING DOCTOR ELIZABETH RAMOS SALAZAR GIVES A LECTURE TO PRE-CAYETANO STUDENTS

On Thursday, February 15, Dr. Elizabeth Ramos Salazar gave a motivational lecture to pre-Cayetano students as part of the 40th anniversary of our Center for Pre-University Studies (CEPU).

In this talk, she shared her steps through the classrooms of our university, her experiences as a student of the pre, her preparation, dedication, and effort to achieve her goals, her professional achievements, and her passion for her career.

It is essential to point out that Dr. Elizabeth Ramos Salazar graduated with honors from our Medical School and has completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. In addition, she has a subspecialty in infectious diseases in immunocompromised pathways at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston/MD Anderson Cancer Center. In 2009, he received the Sepsis Award from the Critical Care Society.

She currently works at Houston Methodist, providing specialized patient care, focusing on immunocompromised and transplanted populations. Cayetano Heredia thanks Dr. Elizabeth Ramos Salazar for motivating young students with her impeccable career. We hope to continue counting on her, as she is a clear example that one can achieve all their goals with effort and dedication.
