CAYETANO HEREDIA RANKED SIXTH IN THE ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY REPORT ON PERUVIAN UNIVERSITIES 2023

Cayetano Heredia is prominently positioned within TOP 10 of the Report on Environmental Sustainability in Peruvian Universities (RSAUP) 2023. By reaching the sixth position among the 64 universities evaluated at the national level, this achievement highlights our institution’s commitment to sustainability and environmental care.

The RSAUP, prepared by the Ministry of the Environment (Minam) and the Inter-University Environmental Network (RAI), addresses various aspects of university environmental management. These include the management of water, energy, and solid waste, measuring carbon footprint, implementing green areas, environmentalization curricula, and promoting environmental research.

Cayetano Heredia stands out in the RSAUP 2023, sharing this honor with other institutions, both public and private, such as the Southern Scientific University, the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru, the National University of the Altiplano and the Ricardo Palma University, among others.
