MEDICAL TECHNOLOGY DEGREE PROGRAM RECEIVED INTERNATIONAL ACCREDITATION FROM CIEES
Our university has received a new international accreditation! On Monday, August 28, the Medical Technology degree program in the specialty of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation, offered by the Faculty of Medicine, received accreditation from the Interinstitutional Committees for the Evaluation of Higher Education (CIEES, of Mexico).
The meeting was attended by our Rector, Dr. Enrique Castañeda Saldaña; the Academic Vice-rector, Dr. Yesenia Musayón Oblitas; the Dean of the Faculties of Medicine, Stomatology and Nursing, Dr. Manuel Rodríguez Castro; the Vice-dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Dr. José Caballero López; the representative of CIEES in Peru, Mag. Jorge Mori Valenzuela, among other guests.
On the other hand, from Mexico, we were accompanied virtually by the general coordinator of CIEES, Mag. Miguel Tamayo Taype, who expressed his happiness that our university continues to ensure the high quality standards of our degree programs.
Dr. Enrique Castañeda Saldaña congratulated the team behind this new accreditation. “In this way, our university continues to promote educational excellence in our country and consolidate our prestige at the international level,” he added.
About CIEES
The Inter-institutional Committees for the Evaluation of Higher Education (CIEES) are the body dedicated to the quality assurance of educational programs and higher education institutions.
And they do so by evaluating the educational programs, as well as their institutional functions in order to, in the end, grant accreditation recognition.To see more photos, click here.
