FORGING INTERNATIONAL BONDS: WELCOME CEREMONY FOR EXCHANGE STUDENTS AT CAYETANO HEREDIA

In an emotional ceremony held in the Hernan Torres auditorium of the San Martín de Porres campus, the Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia warmly welcomed the exchange students who will be part of the second semester of the 2023 academic year. The event, organized by the University Directorate of Institutional Relations and Internationalization, highlighted the invaluable opportunities and facilities that the university offers to both foreign and national students.

The ceremony was attended by the distinguished presence of Dr. Enrique Castañeda Saldaña, Rector of the university, together with distinguished academic authorities, such as Dr. Yesenia Musayón Oblitas, academic Vice-rector, and Dr. Carlos Cáceres Palacios, Vice-rector of research. Likewise, Dr. Cristina Guerra Giraldez, Director of the University Directorate of Institutional Relations and Internationalization, as well as program heads, authorities and students, were present to celebrate this important meeting.

On this occasion, the university welcomed a diverse group of exchange students from Germany, Spain and Colombia, totaling 9 foreign students, along with 5 national students. The degree programs to be developed are Health Administration, Biology, Education, Nursing, Pharmacy and Biochemistry, Medicine, Veterinary Medicine and Zootechnics, and Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation.

The University Directorate of Institutional Relations and Internationalization strives to join together the university community with the rest of the world, promoting the integral formation of students and the academic growth of professors and researchers.

The Rector, Dr. Enrique Castañeda Saldaña, mentioned that the university is proud to offer an enriching international experience through its exchange programs, supported by its extensive network of agreements with institutions of academic excellence worldwide.
