The Simulation Laboratory in Fantomas was designed and implemented by Universidad CES, under the company MESH Medical Shapes, which is a startup of the Colombian institution. It was designed for multipurpose work, i.e., it allows dental laboratory practices as well as patient simulation practices. It has 27 workstations for students and one for teacher demonstration.

“I would like to take this opportunity to thank the entire institution (CES Colombia) because they helped us a lot during the pandemic. He got us through a complicated moment and from then on we started to work hand in hand. This laboratory was already in use, but we still wanted to wait for our friends in Colombia to inaugurate it,” said Dr. Jorge Beltran Silva. This new laboratory joins the Haptic Virtual Reality Simulation Center of the School of Stomatology and the Center for Simulation in Medicine, positioning Cayetano as a leading university in this practice.
